India won the gold medal in the women’s 4x400m relay at the Asian Games on Tuesday. The team finished the race in 3:29.69.

Kiran Pahal, M.R. Poovamma and Prachi ran fastly and kept India close to the leading teams throughout the race.

Vithya Ramraj ran the final leg for India and helped the team take the lead.

India won its first athletics gold medal at the Asian Games, with Bahrain taking silver and China winning bronze.
