Veteran actor Nana Patekar died at the age of 75 on October 8, 2026, after suffering a cardiac arrest at his home in Goa.
Born as Vishwanath Patekar, he later became popularly known as Nana Patekar in the film industry.
Nana Patekar started working at just 13 to help his family financially. He reportedly painted film posters and worked on other small jobs.
For Prahaar, Nana underwent intensive military training for several months to portray an army officer.
Nana co-founded the Naam Foundation, which works to support farmers and families affected by droughts.
