Supreme Court orders former Tehelka editor Tarun Tejpal to surrender in two weeks in 2013 Goa sexual assault case.

This comes after he moved the apex court challenging the August 6 judgment of the Bombay high court, that had overturned a trial court's verdict acquitting him and sentenced him to 10 years in prison.

In 2021, a Goa sessions court acquitted him of all charges saying the prosecution had failed to prove its case beyond all reasonable doubt.

Tejpal was accused of sexually assaulting a woman colleague in the elevator of a hotel in Goa in November 2013.
