Suruchi Singh and Kamaljeet won gold in the 10m air pistol mixed team event at the Asian Games on Friday.

The Indian pair stayed ahead throughout the final and finished with a score of 484.6 points.

India defeated South Korea by 6.6 points, while Iran finished with the bronze medal in the event.

The victory gave India its second gold medal at the Asian Games and first shooting gold of the Games.
