President Donald Trump claimed he was asked to board a “different plane” after his visit to Turkey last month after Secret Service agents and military personnel became concerned about a looming threat.

This information corroborates a story published by the Washington Post which detailed how after attending the last summit of the NATO-Trump, under a genuine threat from Iran allegedly switched planes.

Trump played down the unusual details included that he had to hide in a catering container at the airport to board another plane while his own Air Force One took off as a decoy.

The admission also comes at a time when relations with Iran are at an all-time low and renewed focus on security threats to the President.
