New Delhi (India) May 13: Samajwadi Party (SP) founder Mulayam Singh Yadav's younger son and BJP leader Aparna Bisht Yadav's husband Prateek Yadav, died Wednesday morning after complaining of cardiac-lung complications.
Prateek Yadav Died After Sudden Illness
Prateek, 38, suddenly fell sick in the morning, was admitted to civil hospital early hours but died there itself, the sources said. Although he belonged to a renowned political family, Prateek has stayed out of active politics.
"The demise of Shri Pratik Yadav Ji is extremely heartbreaking! May God grant peace to the departed soul. Humble tribute!," the Samajwadi Party posted on social media platform X.
Yogi Adityanath Calls Demise Heartbreaking
Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, said that the 'sudden demise' of Prateek Yadav was "extremely heartbreaking" while extending his condolences to his family.
He wrote, “The sudden demise of Mr. Prateek Yadav, son of the late Mulayam Singh Yadav, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and ‘Padma Vibhushan’, and husband of Mrs. Aparna Yadav, Vice Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission, is deeply saddening. Humble condolences."
“My condolences are with the bereaved family. We pray to Lord Shri Ram to grant salvation to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this immense sorrow. Om Shanti,” on X.
Postmortem Confirms Cardiorespiratory Collapse
The postmortem report on Prateek Yadav's body reveals that he died of a massive blockage in the blood vessels of lungs causing collapse of heart and respiratory system. The provisional cause of death was declared as "Cardiorespiratory collapse due to massive pulmonary thromboembolism" according to the post mortem report.
Simply put doctors say there was a huge blood clot causing blood not to flow to the lungs causing his breathing and heart to fail. The report further said the doctors preserved the entire heart along with a clot-like mass recovered from the lungs in formalin for thorough histopathological examination.
