Mumbai, July 2026: Sannskriti Arts successfully hosted the third edition of its flagship event, 'Trashion Pe Fashion – Season 3', at Hotel Kohinoor Continental, Andheri East, Mumbai, bringing together young talent, sustainable fashion, and a meaningful social cause under one roof. Spearheaded by Sundeep Prabhakar and Tejasvini Prabhakar, the event once again proved that fashion can be a powerful medium for creating awareness and inspiring positive change.

Inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Responsible Consumption and Production, the event encouraged children to transform waste materials into innovative fashion ensembles. Using recycled paper, plastic, fabric scraps, cardboard, and other discarded materials, participants showcased extraordinary creativity while delivering a strong message on environmental sustainability.

Far beyond being a fashion showcase, 'Trashion Pe Fashion – Season 3' was designed to nurture confidence, imagination, and social responsibility among children. Each participant walked the ramp with self-belief and purpose, demonstrating that sustainability and style can go hand in hand.

Adding greater significance to the initiative, the participation fees collected through the event will support menstrual hygiene initiatives for underprivileged girls, helping create awareness and improve access to essential hygiene products. The event beautifully combined environmental consciousness with compassion, reinforcing the belief that meaningful change begins with collective action.

The evening witnessed enthusiastic participation from children and overwhelming support from parents, educators, and guests, making the third season one of the most successful editions of the initiative. Every participant received a certificate of appreciation, while outstanding performances were honoured with special titles and awards. The event also garnered media attention, further amplifying its message of sustainability and social responsibility.

Speaking on the success of the event, Sundeep Prabhakar and Tejasvini Prabhakar, founders of Sannskriti Arts, said, "Trashion Pe Fashion is much more than a fashion event. It is a platform where children learn that creativity has the power to protect the environment and contribute to society. Witnessing their confidence, innovation, and enthusiasm inspires us to continue building initiatives that create a lasting impact."

With three successful seasons completed, Trashion Pe Fashion has evolved into a distinctive platform that empowers young minds to think creatively, embrace sustainable practices, and become responsible citizens. The initiative continues to inspire the next generation to transform waste into wonder while making a meaningful contribution to society.
