A Mumbai court on Friday remanded three men accused of providing logistical support in the Tiger Shroff firing case in police custody till October 28 as the investigation into the incident continues to unfold.

The accused, Ankit Khatri, Sameer Khatak and Jatin Panchal, were said to have provided logistical support to those who allegedly carried out the attack. The Mumbai Police sought to interrogate them to determine their role in the case.

Defense Questions Police Custody

The three accused, produced before the court on Friday, were opposed to the police custody as their advocates argued that they did not have any role in the incident.

They claimed that their clients were not present at the scene of the crime and questioned the need for their custodial interrogation. The defense added that the police had already recovered a bullet from the hotel room and obtained CCTV footage of the accused.

However, the court agreed to remand the three men in police custody till October 28 to help the investigation.
