WWE continued its European Summer Tour with a live event in Strasbourg, France, on June 2, 2026. The show featured several top WWE superstars from RAW and SmackDown, including Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Seth Rollins, Trick Williams, Rhea Ripley, and Penta.
The event took place at the Zénith de Strasbourg and delivered multiple championship matches and major storyline developments.
Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley Open the Show
The night started with Charlotte Flair taking on Jacy Jayne in singles competition. The match ended in a disqualification after Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid interfered.
Rhea Ripley and Tiffany Stratton then came out to help Charlotte, leading to a six-woman tag team match where the babyfaces picked up the victory to excite the Strasbourg crowd.
LA Knight Defeats Austin Theory
LA Knight continued building momentum during WWE’s European tour by defeating Austin Theory in a singles match. The victory keeps Knight strong as tensions continue rising around The Vision faction and The Bloodline storyline.
Penta Retains the Intercontinental Championship
One of the biggest title matches of the evening saw Penta defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dominik Mysterio.
Penta once again proved why he has become one of WWE’s most active fighting champions, defeating Dirty Dom to successfully retain the championship.
Seth Rollins Wins Brutal Street Fight
Danhausen also continued his surprising WWE run with a victory over The Miz before Seth Rollins battled Bron Breakker in a Street Fight.
Rollins defeated Breakker in a hard-hitting contest. Fans had recently worried about Breakker after he appeared injured on RAW, but he competed normally during the Strasbourg event.
Damian Priest and Trick Williams Score Big Wins
After intermission, Je’Von Evans defeated Ethan Page in singles action. Damian Priest later defeated Solo Sikoa in another featured match.
The second championship match of the night featured Trick Williams defending the United States Championship against Sami Zayn and Carmelo Hayes in a triple-threat match.
Trick Williams retained the title after an exciting battle against both challengers.
Cody Rhodes vs Gunther Ends in Another Controversial Finish
The main event featured Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defending his title against Gunther in a Tables Match.
The rivalry between Rhodes and Gunther has intensified following their controversial match at WWE Clash in Italy, where Gunther’s foot was under the rope during the deciding pinfall.
In Strasbourg, controversy followed them once again. Cody Rhodes put Gunther through a table, but the referee had been knocked down and did not see the finish. Rhodes later sent Gunther through another table to officially retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
