Early Life
Radhika Khera was born on 7 July 1983 in New Delhi, India. She was brought up in a family of politicians and his father Jai Parkash Aggarwal was a former member of Parliament from Chandni Chowk constituency of Delhi.
Education
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Indraprastha University, Delhi in 2000, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Social Communications Media from Sophia College, Mumbai. She was active in politics since her college days and was a member of the Indian National Congress Party’s youth wing, Indian Youth Congress.
Career
Radhika Khera started her political career as a member of the Indian Youth Congress, the youth wing of the Indian National Congress party. He was appointed as the National Media Coordinator of the Indian Youth Congress in 2014. She contested her first assembly election in 2015 from Janakpuri constituency of Delhi, but lost to the Aam Aadmi Party candidate. She also contested the 2019 Lok Sabha election from North West Delhi constituency, but lost to the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate. She was the National Media Coordinator of the Congress and former General Secretary of the party’s youth wing. She has been vocal on various social and political issues including women empowerment, education and health care. She recently resigned from Indian National Congress.
