Sneh Rana was born on 18 February 1994 in a village called Sinaula near Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. She was a girl with a big dream. Her family was not rich, her father was a farmer. Sneh Rana did not let that stop her. Every day she would go out, play cricket. It was hard for girls to play cricket then but Sneh Rana did not give up. She practiced every day. She even got to play for a team called Railways. This was a deal for Sneh Rana. Then she got a chance to play for the women's cricket team. This was what she wanted to do. Sneh Rana played well. Made her international debut in 2014. Sneh Rana felt happy to be playing for India. She wanted to make her country proud.
