Washington Sundar was born on 5 October 1999, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Growing up in one of the most supportive cultures that love cricket very early, Sundar began a very rewarding childhood. M. Sundar, his father, had a big influence on his early cricket experience. Washington graduated from St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Chennai, where he mixed study along with cricket playing.
