Governor Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, USA, recently named serial entrepreneur Nilesh Lodha, commonly known as MukeshK, President of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (ICICC). The ICICC-USA President, Dhawal Vaishnav, stated that Nilesh Lodha’s appointment is associated with the Chamber’s operations in India. Nilesh Lodha sent his appreciation to Supriya Tamhane Jain (USA) for her support in this appointment. He expressed optimism that AICC’s operations in India, under Lodha’s leadership, will give both new and established entrepreneurs more chances.
The Governor of Michigan founded the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce in 2003. He expressed confidence that ICICC will act as a catalyst for innovation and economic growth under his direction, creating an atmosphere that will support the success of entrepreneurs.
The importance of ICICC in fostering bilateral investment and commerce between the USA and India was underlined by Nilesh Lodha. He emphasised the Chamber’s decision to offer sizeable grants to companies creating jobs, which demonstrates its dedication to promoting economic success on both sides of the globe. In his capacity as president, Lodha promises to locate and assist business owners who want to apply for these grants in order to launch innovative ventures that will spur socioeconomic growth.
According to Lodha, A grant of ten million dollars (about eighty-five crore rupees) can be given by the Governor to a new company venture that employs one hundred people and is started in the US through ICICC (India). It will be Nilesh Lodha’s responsibility as President to find these entrepreneurs and make it easier for them to get this grant for their specific venture. Such specialised learning might also be encouraged for students.
In the course of his presidency, Lodha would establish regional teams and choose the officers for each state in India. In addition, Mr. Nilesh Lodha serves as Chairman and CEO of Jain Bazaar and Gold Media Group. Nilesh Lodha continues to be motivated by the values of generosity, kindness, and service as he begins this new chapter of his leadership life.
