CEO Of Naturals Salon Stirs Controversy Over Savarkar Remarks

CK Kumaravel, the CEO of Naturals Salon courted controversy recently by making incendiary comments about Veer Savarkar. In a rally in Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked the opposition leaders from INDI Alliance to say 5 good sentences about Veer Savarkar. The Press Trust of India shared this headline on their X, formerly known as Twitter, handle. 

Replying to the Tweet, CK Kumaravel called Veer Savarkar a coward and a maniac. 

These comments by the Naturals CEO did not go well with the supporters of Veer Savarkar. As the tweet went viral, people started responding to the tweet by CK Kumaravel.

#boycottnaturals has been trending on X all day with people targeting the Naturals CEO. His comments has angered the supporters of  Veer Savarkar who are now targeting him and his business. 

Ever since the controversy broke, CK Kumaravel has not commented on the issue. He has instead continued using his platform to criticise PM Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP). 

Whether the boycott calls on social media actually affect his business remains to be seen.
