A significant update in the Goa nightclub fire tragedy announced the owners of Birch by Romeo Lane have received bail in a second case and will likely be released from jail by Wednesday evening. The accused brothers were already granted bail in a main culpable homicide case earlier.

Court Grants Bail in Second Case. In the second case, which concerned cheating and forgery, bail was granted by a court in Mapusa. In these, their lawyer Parag Rao stated: Bail has been granted under standard conditions. Each accused must submit a bond amount of ₹1 lakh. Along with a surety amount of ₹50,000 each.

Why Were They Arrested?

 Arrest After Escape Attempt. The case was connected to a tragic fire on December 6, when 25 people were killed. The brothers were arrested at Delhi airport on December 16. They had been deported from Thailand after fleeing India. An Interpol notice was issued against them. Their passports were suspended. Serious Charges Filed.
