Police Help Her Marry Boyfriend
Monalisa, who hails from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, shared with the police that her father was pressuring her to marry someone else, while she yearned to be with Farman, who comes from Maharashtra.
In light of her complaint, her father, Jai Singh Bhosale, was called to the police station. Since Monalisa is 18, the police clarified to her family that she has the legal right to choose her own partner.
Kerala Temple Wedding
Following this, Monalisa and Farman tied the knot in a ceremony at a temple. Photos and videos from the wedding showcased Farman lovingly applying sindoor to her forehead and adorning her with a mangalsutra. Monalisa dazzled in a beautiful red saree, while Farman complemented her in a white shirt and mundu.
The ceremony was a modest affair, attended by notable political figures like V Sivankutty, MV Govindan, and AA Rahim.
Post Marriage Statement
After the wedding, Monalisa expressed her happiness to reporters, explaining that they chose Kerala for their wedding because they both cherished the state. Farman also shared his thoughts about their journey together.
"Ours is a six-month love story, but it feels like sixty years. I am also an actor," he said.
Bollywood Debut and Modeling Projects
Monalisa first gained fame as the amber-eyed garland seller at the Mahakumbh Mela, where her striking looks and warm personality made her a favorite among the crowd, with many eager to snap a selfie with her.
Beyond her newfound fame, it was announced that she would star in Manoj Mishra's upcoming Bollywood film, "The Diary of Manipur." Alongside her film career, Monalisa is actively involved in modeling and has made headlines as the brand ambassador for Bobby Chemmanur Jewellery during her visit to Kerala.
She is also set to make her Malayalam film debut in "Nagamma," directed by P. Binu Varghese, starring opposite Kailash. Additionally, Monalisa maintains a vibrant presence on Instagram, collaborating with various brands.
