Water Scarcity is a major concern especially during summers. This time it has hit Delhi and BJP has shown concern for it by protesting against the AAP Government in Delhi. This time BJP won all the seats in Delhi during Lok Sabha Elections. Their concern for the state is real as the problem is big and needs to be addressed.

Shortage of Water In Delhi

This summer Delhi has been going through a water crisis for the past few days. On Monday Delhi BJP leaders and MP’s along with party workers slammed the AAP Government over water Crisis in Delhi. They alleged that the people of Delhi are getting sick as they are forced to drink dirty water from the taps due to water shortage. People of Delhi are hoping that the situation gets better as water is a necessity for everyone.

BJP protesters with party workers, raised slogans against the AAP Government by carrying bottles of dirty water and as a mark of protest over water scarcity they smashed ‘matkas’ ( earthen pots) in the national capital. The protest was held at Delhi’s Geeta Colony.

Statement By Delhi BJP President Against AAP Government

At Geeta Colony, the president of Delhi BJP Virendra Sachdeva claimed that Haryana was releasing full share of water into Yamuna. He further protested by saying that “This water gets stolen by tanker mafia after it enters Delhi because the ministers and MLAs of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party are hand in glove with them”.

BJP MP’s Also Joined The Protests

Bharatiya Janata Party MP’s Manoj Tiwari, Bansuri Swaraj, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Praveen Khandelwal and Yogendra Chandolia also protested at different places in Delhi against the AAP Government over the issue of water scarcity in Delhi. As the problem is serious , it needs a solution at the earliest.
