Amit Shah Declares Shinde's Shiv Sena the Only Sena Left

Amit Shah said this at a rally. Now the fight between Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray will get more intense.

He said people used to think Eknath Shindes party was a Shiv Sena.. Now that's not the case.

He clearly said, "There is one Shiv Sena now. There are no groups. There is one Shiv Sena."

The BJP is fully supporting Eknath Shinde.

Six MPs May Join Eknath Shinde

Six MPs from Uddhav Thackerays Shiv Sena might join Eknath Shindes side.

Amit Shah said this when six out of nine Lok Sabha MPs from Uddhav Thackerays Shiv Sena did not attend a party meeting in Delhi.

These MPs wrote to the Lok Sabha Speaker, Om Birla. They want to be recognized as a group.

Reports say these MPs will soon officially join Eknath Shindes Shiv Sena. This will make the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance stronger.

So How Did Shiv Sena Split?

The BJP has always supported Eknath Shinde. In 2022 Eknath Shinde rebelled against Uddhav Thackeray.

This rebellion led to the collapse of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government.

In 2023 the Election Commission gave Eknath Shindes group the Shiv Sena name and symbol.

Uddhav Thackerays group was renamed. They got a symbol. A flaming torch.

Shiv Sena Leaders Target BJP

Shiv Sena leaders say the BJP is working behind the scenes to make the NDA stronger.

The BJP says they are not involved.

Arvind Sawant, a Shiv Sena leader wrote to Speaker Om Birla. He asked that no rebel group be recognized.

He said the BJP is trying to weaken the Opposition.

What's Next?

If the merger happens the NDA will get stronger.

It will be another setback, for Uddhav Thackeray. He has already lost the partys name, symbol and several leaders.
