Congress MLA Praises Rahul Gandhi During Oath, Governor Objects

When Congress MLA S Rajesh Kumar from Killiyoor was taking his oath he did not just stop at the words. He went on to say some things.

He said "Long live Kamarajar long live Rajiv Gandhi and long live Rahul Gandhi". This got everybodys attention in the room.

Governor Rajendra Viswanath Arlekar gently told the MLA that this was not part of the oath.

The Governor said "It is not part of your oath" in a way and that brought everything back to normal. The ceremony went on without any problems.
