Chadha Thanks PM Modi For His Guidance

Chadha shared a picture and details about the meeting and expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi.

He said the interaction was something he could use to benefit from the Prime Minister's experience and advice. His comments came at a moment in his political career when he was moving from the Aam Aadmi Party to the Bharatiya Janata Party.

The meeting also comes as Chadha settles into his new role on the BJP's side in the Rajya Sabha.

Raghav Chadha's New Role in Rajya Sabha

Chadha has moved from AAP to BJP in April. In the meantime, he has taken on a new role in Parliament.

He was appointed Chairman of the Rajya Sabha Committee on Petitions after the committee was reconstituted, and the new arrangement came into effect on May 20.

Chadha was among the Rajya Sabha MPs who left AAP for BJP. His move was a big political turn and drew a lot of attention in Delhi politics.

Chadha’s Stand On The NEET Issue

Raghav Chadha had also faced questions about his silence on the NEET paper leak controversy.

Chadha said he had changed his responsibilities from the Opposition benches to the treasury benches.

In Opposition, he said, his job was to raise questions and identify the problems. Now he is in charge of finding solutions.

Chadha said he could have spoken to the media regularly on the NEET issue but he wanted to focus on working towards a solution rather than just saying things.

“Question Was My Weapon, Solution Is My Responsibility”

Chadha told us after joining the government side in Rajya Sabha how he changed his attitude.

He said that when sitting in the Opposition, asking questions was his responsibility. Now that he sits on the treasury benches, his problem-solving should be to find solutions.

Chadha also said his priority was not simply to be in front of cameras or to have headlines. He wanted to contribute to fixing the system. His responses showed that he feels different about his role now that he’s switched sides.

A Key Meeting After BJP Switch

The PM Modi meeting is significant as Chadha continues his transition from AAP to the BJP.

His public praise for the Prime Minister's guidance is also a sign of his new position in the BJP which also indicates that he is now in Parliament.

For Chadha, the meeting comes at an important point in his political journey with his new responsibilities in the Rajya Sabha and his focus now shifted from Opposition politics to working from the treasury benches.
