”My biggest challenge when bowling in the death overs is to maintain a good length, which is of utmost importance. I knew Ferreira was a back foot player when we played in South Africa, so I tried to be a little full and quick to get him out on the first ball. I delivered a few seam-up pitches to the hitters in order to gauge their actions. For me, length alone matters, therefore that was the strategy. When we score 200 or more, the bowler is obviously under a lot of strain. It’s also an opportunity to take wickets, so I tried to maintain my faith and support my abilities..”
