6 Tourists dead as helicopter crashes in Uttarakhand
A helicopter crash near Ganganani, Uttarkashi, took the lives of six passengers. At the location, relief efforts are still in progress.

In the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, a helicopter crashed on Thursday morning close which has killed six people. The pilot was one of the seven people on the helicopter.
Shardul Singh, the district disaster management officer for Uttarkashi, said that though one person has been rescued, the fate of the rest is still unknown.
The private helicopter was flying from Dehradun to Gangotri when the accident took place,at nine in the morning.
The people who were on the helicopter were Vinit Gupta, Arvind Agarwal, Vipin Agarwal, Pinki Agarwal, Rashmi, and Kishore Jadhav.
Ambulances, the Army Force, the police and disaster management team have all rushed to the area near Uttarkashi.
The State Disaster Response Force and district administration team members have arrived at the location for relief and rescue efforts, according to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
The chief minister of Uttarakhand, posted the news on social media to express his condolences to the deceased's family. He said that, "May God grant peace to the souls of those who died in the accident and give strength to the bereaved families to bear this immense loss.”
I have instructed the administration to provide all possible help to the injured and investigate the accident.”
The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) said that the AeroTrans Services Private Limited helicopter crashed and fell into a valley that was between 200 and 250 meters deep.
The helicopter left from Sahastradhara Helipad in Dehradun for Kharsali Helipad in Yamunotri. According to the SDRF,Capt. Robin Singh was flying the helicopter. Two of the passengers were from Andhra Pradesh and the other four were from Mumbai.
The accident's cause has not yet been determined.
Locals and police arrived at the scene and began the rescue effort after learning of the accident .
