Haldiram’s inaugural London branch now has a live video on social media that captures long queues outside its first outlet. Haldiram's first store in London has gone viral on the Web. A short clip that showed a large crowd outside the store in great numbers has been shared on Instagram and soon caught the eye of many people. The creator has joked, "every Indian had the same weekend plan."

The new outlet received both praise and critiques from people. “I heard from one user the taste is like frozen food! Clearly none of them will be making something fresh. They want profit!" Another suggested, “Need it worldwide.” “I am guilty of being there yesterday,” a visitor admitted. Honestly, it’s not worth the hype or the price. Others recommended, “Go for Khatta Meetha by Haldiram, guys.” Another merely wrote, “Must go there.” 

Some jokes also went viral. “Chole bhature madness,” was one user’s write. “The trend of standing in long queues has reached London too,” another said. “Everyone wants aloo bhujia,” as commented in a rather humorous way. "You can tell they're brown by the way they're standing with their hands on their waists," laughed another user. One person even wrote, "That only shows how dull the city is when everyone flocks to the same place."
