Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath warned police personnel not to make media videos while on duty. He said this behavior is against discipline and can hurt the police forces image.

At a program in Lucknow the Chief Minister gave appointment letters to 930 computer operators. He said every police member must stay focused, responsible and disciplined while working.

Police Must Focus on Duty Says CM Yogi

CM Yogi Adityanath clearly said police personnel should avoid distractions like making videos during work hours. He said, "We often see people making videos during duty. This is not right. At that time one should stay alert. Focus on work. Police duty is very important.”

He added that the police force has a responsibility and every action should show seriousness and professionalism. According to him unnecessary social media activity can make the force a subject of criticism.

Discipline and Dignity of Police Force Important

The Chief Minister highlighted that discipline is key to a police system. He said any action that brings embarrassment or ridicule to the force should be avoided.

He further stated, "We must remember that everything done with dignity brings results. No one should do anything that makes the system look bad.”

New Recruits Called "Digital Warriors”

Addressing the computer operators CM Yogi Adityanath encouraged them to become "digital warriors" of the Uttar Pradesh Police. He said they should use technology to make the police system stronger and more efficient.

He advised them to gain knowledge and understand police applications and security systems properly. According to him technology plays a role in modern policing.

Massive Recruitment Drive in Uttar Pradesh Police

CM Yogi also spoke about the large-scale recruitment process in the state. He said that transparency has been maintained in all recruitment drives under his government.

He shared that 930 computer operators have recently been appointed. He also mentioned that 28 lakh candidates applied for about 35,000 police constable posts. Earlier recruitment exams were also conducted for 41,000 home guard posts.

He added that in the nine years around 2.15 lakh police personnel have been recruited across different levels in Uttar Pradesh.

Focus on Teamwork and Good Governance

The Chief Minister emphasized that a strong law and order system depends on recruitment, proper training and disciplined functioning of the police force.

He also urged everyone to work for improving the image of Uttar Pradesh. According to him development and good governance can only be achieved through teamwork at every level of administration.

Senior officials including Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad and DGP Rajeev Krishna were also present, at the event.
