Actor Deepika Padukone is currently unwell, due to which she didn’t attend the trailer launch event of her upcoming aerial action thriller film Fighter. It is also discovered by the internet that she has unfollowed the film’s director, Siddharth Anand, on Instagram. However it is not sure if she was even following him earlier. Fans are speculating a rift between Deepika and the director.
Trailer launched in Bandra today
The team of Fighter released the film’s 3 min 9 second official trailer today at Jio World Plaza, Bandra. Hrithik Roshan was seen with Director Siddharth Anand, Co-star Anil Kapoor and Akshay Oberoi. Karan Singh Grover and Deepika Padukone both were unable to attend the event.

The event was filled with Hrithik’s fans screaming and hooting at the trailer. The trailer was screened in Imax 3D. Hrithik addressed his fans and thanked them for showing so much enthusiasm and passion for the movie’s trailer launch. Hrithik said, “I value the passion of my fans as the highest thing….I am grateful for the opportunity and we will let the work speak for us now.” Anil Kapoor also addressed the audience along with director Siddharth Anand. The cast exited after asking the audience to show the same enthusiasm on January 25th. They all later posed for the paps too.
Siddharth Anand also said that their team has been working tirelessly for the movie and still has not slept. Everyone is very excited for this upcoming action thriller.
Deepika’s absence
Earlier, Deepika Padukone took to her IG stories to share that she will miss the trailer launch. She wrote, “Will miss my squadron (multiple emojis with ill faces) Good Luck Team! (punch emoji) #Fighter #Fightertrailer.
Many fans were disppointed to not see Deepika at the event. However Sidharth Anand addressed her and said to the cameras,” Deepika we miss you!”
Fighter is director Siddharth Anand’s third collaboration with Deepika Padukone, they first collaborated in 2008 for Bachna Ae Haseeno, followed by last year’s superhit film Pathaan.

Hrithik was seen wearing comfortable pants and jacket for the event along with a cap. He looked as handsome as he looks on the screen People couldn’t get enough of him.Many fans gathered to have a glimpse of their favourite actor.
About the trailer
The trailer promises incredible action along with a hugh dose of adrenaline rush. Hrithik and Deepika’s chemistry in the trailer is wonderful. The trailer begins with Hrithik Roshan giving voice, saying ‘fighter woh nai jo target achieve karta hai, fighter woh hai jo thok deta hai’. The next scene shows Anil Kapoor who assembles a team of IAF officers to avenge India after a deadly terror attack. The trailer has increased the enthusiasm for the highly anticipated movie.
Other than Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Akshay Oberoi, and Karan Singh Grover will play key roles in Fighter, which is scheduled to be released on January 25th.
