12 January 2024, Mumbai: Rohit Shetty, the acclaimed director renowned for his adrenaline-pumping films, recently responded to accusations of promoting police brutality in his upcoming projects – Indian Police Force and Singham Again. Despite facing criticism, Rohit Shetty confidently addressed the concerns surrounding his portrayal of law enforcement in his cinematic ventures.

Rohit Shetty’s Success Formula:

In a candid interview, Rohit Shetty shared his perspective on the success of his movies amid the controversy. He made it clear that he does not endorse ‘killing innocent people’ and is firmly against individuals taking the law into their own hands. Rohit clarified, “Of course, I’m against killing innocent people. I’m against them taking the law into their hand. But if someone is shooting at you, you won’t welcome them with open arms, would you?”

Rohit Shetty Responds to Trolls:

Addressing online criticism, Rohit Shetty expressed his resilience to trolls, stating, “Darr hona zaruri hai in the society (Instilling fear in society is necessary). I firmly believe in this, and it’s okay if I get trolled for saying this. I’m clear in my head about what I’m saying.” He acknowledged the necessity of adopting a different mindset when dealing with certain individuals, such as drug addicts or those who have committed heinous crimes.

On the film front, Rohit Shetty recently unveiled the teaser for the eagerly anticipated Indian Police Force season 1, featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi, as part of a Prime Video India original series.

Singham Again by Rohit Shetty:

Looking ahead, Rohit Shetty has another significant project in the pipeline – Singham Again. Serving as the third installment in the Singham franchise, it boasts an ensemble cast, including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff. While a final release date is yet to be announced, fans eagerly anticipate the return of Singham to the big screen.
