The superstar of bollywood, the original Bhaijaan of the Indian cinema, Salman Khan turns 58 today. Son of acclaimed screenwriter Salim Khan and his first wife Salma, Salman Khan was born on 27 december 1965. His father later married actress Helen, which led to worsening of his relationship with his son.

Salman Khan is a name very popular among the masses of Indian population and over the years, with his style ands charisma on screen, he had won a billion hearts. Today when there is another reason to celebrate him and his fame for his die hard fans, let’s recall how he drives his fan following today.

When he started his career, he started as the heartthrob of the nation, where everyone would fall for his on screen charisma and electric presence. With movies like Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, he attracted audience which were interested in family drama and family comedies. He was the first option for the section of the society which wanted to see family oriented films.

Then came the era of style and fashion when films would run around his screen presence and his stardom. People would copy his style and movies sarted to flourish under his aura. No matter the story or the side roles, the film would succeed only and only on the basis of his personality. He would surely open his shirt once in the movie which became a must for his films to include. Every time a film would come, people would wait for him to open his shirt in the climax scene. While other characters would do roles which would include for them to change looks or personalities, he would do only one type of role which would include him to be the Macho and Massy character which would beat the shit out of the villain every time. This may sound monotonous but his fans liked it and this formula worked always.

Then came the Era, where he started offering work to his mates. He was confident that his films would definitely make money and so on his shoulders people would get to earn  their career back. This has led to his recent downfall because he haven’t been able to do justice to his art. People would love to see his superstar status get back to its peak and that too very soon.
