We will look to predict the playing 11 of India. England already announced their playing 11.India will play England on 7th march at Dharamshala . India has already won the series and they are leading by 3-1. England will look to win this match which will boost their confidence for the upcoming tours.

Although the fifth Test between India and England is meaningless in terms of the series, R Ashwin and Jonny Bairstow will be playing in their 100th Test, and there are still World Test Championship points up for grabs. Furthermore, players on both teams have something to show.

Will Patidar get another chance?

Even though they often scored in the mid-40s in first class, players like Rajat Patidar have struggled in the three Test matches thus far and will be looking to close the series strongly. Regarding England, Bairstow was impressive at times, but was unable to convert his starts. After a little period of searching, he ultimately played a no-shot to escape.

In Ranchi, the middle-order hitter has once again performed poorly. The wicket was, though, pulling a few more pranks than it had in the earlier games. Due to the pitch’s constant bounce, Patidar’s foot moment was scrutinized during the Test. Having said that, Devdutt Padikkal, the team’s only alternative, is unlikely to replace him in the series’ last game.

Bumrah will return to the playing XI for the fifth Test after receiving a rest in the previous match. Day One in Ranchi, Akash Deep had bowled a scorching spell. Akash took good use of the dampness on a surface that didn’t have much assistance and unsettled the English hitters with his nuanced seam position. As a result, he may be the bowler  who gets another game.

India predicted XI: Rohit Sharma , Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Akash Deep

England confirmed XI: Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes ©, Ben Foakes (WK), Tom Hartley, Mark Wood, Shoaib Bashir, James Anderson.
