14th September 2023,Mumbai: Judicial Decision:

A court in Rajasthan’s Deeg district commits Mohit Yadav, alias Monu Manesar, to 15-day judicial custody for his connection to the Bhiwani double murder case.

The Gruesome Incident:

Two Muslim men, Junaid and Nasir, faced tragic deaths, their bodies found charred in a vehicle in Haryana’s Bhiwani district following their alleged abduction and assault by suspected cow protection gangs.

Monu Manesar’s Arrest and Background:

Manesar, associated with cow vigilantism and Bajrang Dal, faces accusations related to the double murder and is alleged to have instigated violence in Haryana’s Nuh. His arrest followed an extensive eight-month search.

Co-Conspirators and Ongoing Investigation:

Besides Manesar, three others have been arrested, with 26 more under suspicion. Superintendent of Police Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay shed light on Manesar’s role in the conspiracy and his travels prior to his arrest.

Revelations During Interrogation:

While under interrogation, Manesar unveiled connections and communications with one of the co-accused, hinting at their combined involvement.

Manesar’s Claims:

In a telephonic interview with Hindustan Times, Manesar pledged full cooperation and asserted his non-involvement through a shared video on social media platforms.

Victims’ Families Demand Justice:

The devastated families of the deceased, hailing from village Ghatmika, demand the strictest punishment for Manesar, with some advocating for the death penalty.

Current Status of Manesar:

Monu Manesar is detained at Mathura Gate police station in Bharatpur city, with a formal police complaint lodged against him and four others in Gopalgarh police station in Mewat region of Deeg district.
