29th May 2023, Mumbai: A young man is shown on tape stabbing a girl repeatedly and hitting her with a stone slab as bystanders look on in horror but do nothing to halt the assault.
The 16-year-old girl remains still but the ferocious onslaught continues, as seen in yesterday’s horrific security camera footage from Rohini in north Delhi.
No one was able to save the girl after she was killed on a busy street in a crowded neighbourhood, allegedly by her lover. After the murder, he ran away.
The couple had fought the previous evening, the police said.
On Sunday night, the man attacked the teenager with a knife and repeatedly stabbed her. The murderer had to shake the knife free when it appeared to become caught at one point.
The terrifying footage then shows the man striking the woman repeatedly while holding a stone slab.
He appeared to leave, but then came back and whacked her with the rock once more.
The girl was attacked on en route to her friend’s son’s birthday party, according to the police.
They were dating, but yesterday they got into a fight. The youngster had made plans to go to her friend’s son’s birthday celebration. The man pursued her, repeatedly stabbed her, and beat her with a stone, according to a senior officer.
Residents called the police, who responded and discovered the girl’s body with blood surrounding her. Police units are looking for the murderer.
“A team has been assembled, and an inquiry is in progress. The culprit would be taken into custody soon, according to Delhi’s Deputy Commissioner of Police Suman Nalwa.
The chairwoman of the Delhi women’s panel, Swati Maliwal, stated that the police have been sent a notice over the event. A CCTV camera caught the crime. Many people observed this, but they paid it no mind. For girls and women, Delhi has become very dangerous, she claimed, according to the news agency.
