According to sources at the Forensic Science Laboratory in Rohini, where the polygraph test was conducted, Aaftab Amin Poonawala is thought to have admitted to killing Shraddha Walkar and discarding the body parts during the examination. According to the article, Aaftab reportedly admitted to having relationships with a number of girls. The final session of Aaftab’s polygraph test, which was conducted at the Forensic Science Laboratory, was on Tuesday. On Monday, he was attacked while being transported in a police van.

Although a confession made during a polygraph examination is not admissible in court, the police requested the examination to see whether Aaftab was being truthful or misled the investigation. Confessions made during a polygraph examination may also result in the recovery of some important evidence. His narco-analysis test still needs to be completed.

Aaftab was detained by authorities on November 12 and is now in their custody. Police barely pieced together the gruesome murder that occurred in Delhi in May and was discovered six months later thanks to his confession. Aaftab thereafter scattered the corpse parts over several forests.

After questioning, Aaftab provided various graphic details about how he choked Shraddha during a disagreement and then hacked her body into 35 pieces to dispose of them one by one covertly. Aaftab purchased a freezer the following day to store the body pieces after killing Shraddha.

According to the study, the couple’s relationship problems started in Maharashtra, where they lived together before moving to Delhi. Shraddha’s close friends knew that Aaftab used to beat her. Aaftab was suspected of cheating on Shraddha as well.

Police claim that Aftab communicated with 15 to 20 girls via various dating websites, though it is unclear when this occurred.
