30th June 2023,Mumbai: In Lust Stories 2, actor Mrunal Thakur received appreciation for her work. The film, directed by R Balki, explores the role that love and sex play in fostering happy relationships. Mrunal’s on-screen chemistry with Neena Gupta’s grandmother character serves to emphasise the film’s engaging story.
When Mrunal was asked about her opinions on lust and sex, she stated, “I really feel that having mature dialogues about sex and lust is vital, especially when one is young and growing up. One has a role model who imparts the proper knowledge and information to them while they are young adults.”
She continued, “If all impressionable young brains, especially children in families, had at least one person they could be honest with regarding these matters, they will be less likely to seek a plethora of misinformation from the outside world.”
In the movie, Mrunal plays a soon-to-be bride who is amusingly questioned by her grandmother about her supposed “lust quotient” with her intended (Angad Bedi).
In Lust Stories, the idea of contemporary relationships and the various levels of complexity that go along with it are explored. Anthology Lust Stories 2 features four tales by master filmmakers Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sen Sharma, R Balki, and Sujoy Ghosh. Kajol, Vijay Varma, Tamannaah Bhatia, Tillotama Shome, Amruta Subhash, Neena Gupta, and Kumud Mishra are also included in the cast.
Mrunal and Vijay Deverakonda will be seen onscreen together in the upcoming months. Parasuram Petla is directing the unnamed movie, which is being made by Sri Venkateswara Creations.
She and Nani are working on a significant project. The project’s filming was recently completed by the team. Mrunal previously stated, in reference to the film, “I’m sure delighted and excited to be part of this production. The project’s support team is incredibly talented, and the story is incredibly heartwarming. I’m eager to collaborate with Nani. Given that I recently completed the remake of Jersey, which Nani first starred in, it’s an interesting curve.”
