27th October 2023, Mumbai: Pinkvilla recently revealed an exclusive scoop about Akshay Kumar and Mohit Suri collaborating for the first time in an action thriller produced by Rohit Shetty. Mohit Suri later confirmed the news on his Instagram. The film, reportedly set in a unique and unpredictable backdrop, is scheduled to start production in 2024.

According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the forthcoming movie featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead role, directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Rohit Shetty, is named “Psycho.” In this film, the Khiladi actor will portray a character with psychological complexities. “It’s a thriller in the space of cinema that Mohit Suri makes and will star Akshay Kumar in a role like never before. He will be playing a Psycho character in the film,” informed the source.
As per the information, production is set to commence in the first half of 2024, with a non-stop 40-day shooting schedule from beginning to end. Following Akshay Kumar’s previous projects, this film will maintain a rapid and strict filming timeline. Preparations for the movie will kick off shortly. Rohit Shetty is enthusiastic about the storyline and intends for it to be the inaugural film under his banner that he won’t direct himself. “Everyone is excited to take the film on floors,” the source explains.
