27th June 2023, Mumbai: Raj Babbar and Dharmendra were the audience as Anupam Kher posted a video of Dharmendra reading a poem. Anupam revealed on Twitter on Tuesday that the quick get-together happened before Karan Deol’s wedding.
Anupam introduced the video by saying, “Ji Dharamji aap bohut accha kuch suna rahe the (Dharamji you were saying something wonderful).” Behind the camera. The seasoned actor then spoke briefly as Raj Babbar reclined on a couch next to him. As Dharmendra read the poem, Anupam and Raj applauded him. Dharmendra grinned as the video came to a close, and Anupam said, “That’s wonderful. I’m grateful.”
When sharing the video, Anupam stated in Hindi, “We miss the house we left behind when we grow up, whether in age or in status. The home where we spent our formative years. I was able to spend time with Dharam ji because I arrived a little early for the wedding of my friend Sunny Deol’s son, Karan.”
“Dharam Ji was humming a few lines of his nazm (poem),” he continued. “My heart was being deeply touched, as was Raj Babbar ji’s. He agreed to record this poetry at my urging. And you listen. Your mother, your youth, your house, and your sweetheart will all be missed. I appreciate you, @aapkadharam ji (love eyes, hands-folded emojis).” He additionally added the hashtags ‘poem, memories, nostalgia and mother.
Anupam attended the wedding celebration of Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol as a guest. At the event for Karan and his wife Drisha Acharya, a number of Bollywood celebs made their presence known, including Shatrughan Sinha, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh Singh, and Deepika Padukone. Anupam had shared a photo from the reception after the wedding. He posed with Dharmendra, Sunny, Salman, and Aamir in the picture.
Anupam shared the picture and wrote, “Class of the 90s. actors from a time before cell phones and luxury vans. When we exchanged tales! When our makeup rooms were shared. We giggled as we changed into our costumes in the open, behind bushes and umbrellas. I’m still going!! Continually evolving! Still important! Anupam will appear in the movie The Vaccine War, which centres on India’s efforts to create a Covid-19 vaccine during the pandemic. Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is in charge. Fans may also watch him in the Kangana Ranaut-directed film Emergency. It is about the 1975 emergency and former prime minister Indira Gandhi.
