Cannes 2023: Indian Movies To Be Screened At The Film Festival Is Not Less Than A Big Achievement That Indian Cinema Getting In An International Level

18th May 2023, Mumbai: The 67th Cannes Film festival will feature 4 Indian cinema films in this year. It’s a pleasure to having such big platform for film premier. This year, The prestigious Event, invites many Bollywood stars including Sara Ali Khan, Mrunal Thakur, Esha Gupta, and Anushka Sharma and welcomed them so humbly.

As it is a Traditional legacy, The Indian cinema will be showcased in the Cannes Film festival as they have been doing previous year. This 10 days of Cannes will be definitely a ride of joy. Let’s talk about the movies, that have earned a place in Cannes Film festival.

There were Four Movies which is to be screened on a Cannes 2023, with having a separately genre.

  • KENNEDY –

Kennedy movie, directed by Anurag Kashyap is revolves around an ex-cop, thought to be dead, who operates for the corrupt system and looks for redemption, starring –  Sunny Leone, Rahul Bhat, Abhilash Thapliyal in a lead role. This film got the slot of midnight, and will be screening on Midnight at the Cannes Film festival.

  • NEHEMICH –

This film also selected for Cannes 2023, and the movie will be Presented at the respected event, in the short film section. It is navigated by Yudhajit Basu and stars Bhakti Makarand Athawale, Sakshi Dighe and Gadharva Gulvelkar.

  • AGRA –

Agra will have its world premiere at the Directors” Fortnight section at the film festival. It is directed Kunal Behl, starring Rahul Roy, Priyanka Bose, Mohit Agarwal, Ruhani Sharma, Vibha Chibber, Sonal Jha, and Aanchal Goswami. The movie is based on Sexual relationship in inside the family and The film will look at the deep dystopian fractures created in a modern India fast shrinking into pigeon-holed spaces.

  • ISHANOU –

This movie is selected for the classic selection for the Cannes Film festival 2023. The 1990’s film was written by  M.K Binodini and directed by Aribam Syam Sharma. Starring Anoubam Kiranmala and Kangabam Tomba in the lead roles. It has been screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1991 Cannes Film Festival. The movie has been screened at many other film festivals as well.

Indian cinema leading all over the world, and comes to the Cannes Film festival too, It was a achievement for Film directors, writers, producer and actors dedication. This is just a trailer of Indian Cinema “Picture abhi baaki hai” .
