15th May 2023,Mumbai: Anil Kapoor is a renowned Indian actor who has left an indelible mark on the world of cinema. Kapoor has been a prominent figure in the Indian film industry for several decades. With his charismatic personality and versatile acting skills, he has delivered memorable performances in a wide range of films. The actor has just announced that Sunedar, a high-octane action drama produced by Abundantia Entertainment and helmed by Suresh Triveni, will be his next project.
Anil Kapoor had a successful start to 2023 thanks to positive reviews for his performance as Shailendra Rungta, aka Shelly, in The Night Manager, which is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. He also made a guest appearance In Jeremy Renner’s Rennervations, a Disney+ series, and won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor award for Jugjugg Jeeyo. The actor has just announced that Sunedar, a high-octane action drama produced by Abundantia Entertainment and helmed by Suresh Triveni, will be his next project.
“I have done a lot of action films, but this is a pure action film, a dramatic action film,” said Kapoor to Variety. “I’m eager to do it. Currently, the plot is a secret. The first day of principal photography is September 15.”
Anil Kapoor has said that he will play the protagonist in the Hindi translation of the 2019 Malayalam blockbuster Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25, which centres on a father-son connection and how their lives are affected by the arrival of an AI humanoid.
Anil Kapoor is now shooting the action drama Animal by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, in which Ranbir Kapoor also appears, as well as the aerial action movie Fighter by Siddharth Anand, which also stars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
