5th October 2023, Mumbai: Fahmaan Khan, known for his roles in popular shows like “Apna Time Bhi Aayega” and “Imlie,” recently addressed the controversy surrounding his strained friendship with his “Imlie” co-actor Sumbul Touqeer. The actor, who had requested the media and fans not to prolong the matter, expressed his frustration with being constantly misinterpreted.
Fahmaan did not post any wishes or support for Sumbul Touqeer
Fahmaan Khan has gained recognition for his acting skills and is known for being supportive of his co-actors’ projects. He usually promotes and congratulates them on social media. However, when Sumbul Touqeer’s new show, “Kavya: Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon,” premiered, Fahmaan did not post any wishes or support for her. This action led to speculation about their strained friendship.
Fahmaan initially hesitated to comment on Sumbul’s Topic
When asked about the controversy and if he had seen the promos of Sumbul’s show, Fahmaan initially hesitated to comment. He stated, “Honestly, I don’t want to speak anything on this matter.” However, he went on to explain that he often feels disappointed when people accuse him of using Sumbul’s name for attention. He emphasized that it has never been his intention and that much of what he says gets misinterpreted. Fahmaan stressed that the issue has been prolonged for too long and should be put to rest. He mentioned that he had privately messaged Sumbul to wish her all the best for her show and that he doesn’t feel the need to share everything on social media. He concluded by stating that he has only good wishes for her.

The controversy between Fahmaan Khan and Sumbul Touqeer reportedly began when Sumbul was evicted from the “Bigg Boss 16” house. Fahmaan claims that Sumbul was upset because he didn’t promote her stay in the house. Additionally, Sumbul backed out of a song collaboration with Fahmaan and his friend Tabish. Fahmaan tried to mend their friendship by reaching out and extending Eid wishes, but his attempts were met with no response from Sumbul. Despite the controversy, Sumbul has maintained that she wishes the best for Fahmaan.
