23 October 2023, Mumbai: Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon’s latest cinematic venture, “Ganapath,” seems to have had a slow start at the box office, with limited growth seen over its opening weekend. The film, characterized as a futuristic action thriller, managed to accumulate approximately ₹7 crore in its first three days of release. On Sunday, the movie’s earnings amounted to ₹2.25 crore, maintaining consistency with the figures from the previous two days, where it also garnered ₹2.25 crore and ₹2.5 crore on Saturday and Friday, respectively.
Plot of Ganapath
Directed by Vikas Bahl, “Ganapath” also boasts the presence of the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, playing a significant role as a sagacious figure, showcasing a distinct appearance. This film reunites Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, who made their debut together in “Heropanti.” Set in the year 2070 A.D., the storyline revolves around Tiger’s character, hailed as the “chosen one,” who emerges as a beacon of hope for a suppressed population. His journey unfolds in an uncharted realm as he seeks to comprehend his destiny. In a genre-defying performance, Kriti Sanon, too, engages in several action sequences, displaying expertise with the nunchaku, a martial arts weapon.

Despite the absence of shared scenes in this film, she remains hopeful for the opportunity to act alongside him in subsequent projects.
