12th June 2023, Mumbai: SS Rajamouli, the renowned Indian filmmaker, is currently working on an untitled film that features Telugu cinema superstar Mahesh Babu. After delivering blockbusters like Baahubali, Baahubali 2, and RRR, fans are eagerly awaiting their next collaboration. The makers of this African jungle adventure drama will officially launch the film on August 9, coinciding with Mahesh Babu’s birthday.
According to a close source, SS Rajamouli will take approximately two months to finalize the storyline before narrating it to Mahesh Babu. The film is expected to enter the pre-production phase after the official launch, with shooting scheduled to commence in 2024. The source also dismissed rumors about Aamir Khan’s involvement, confirming that casting decisions will only be made once the script is complete. It is reported that the marketing for this pan-Indian film will be extensive, as the makers aim to reach a wide audience. SS Rajamouli’s project will mark Mahesh Babu’s grand entry into the world of Pan-Indian cinema. The film’s release is targeted for mid-2025, and it is backed by producer KL Narayana with a massive budget, making it one of the most expensive films in Indian cinema.
