3rd November 2023, Mumbai: Thalapathy Vijay’s blockbuster ‘Leo’ experiences a gradual decline in collections as it marches towards a remarkable Rs 600 crore worldwide. The film began its third week with a collection of Rs 2.90 crore in India, raising questions about its weekend performance.

Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Leo’: A Spectacular Success Story

Released on October 19 and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, ‘Leo’ has established itself as one of Kollywood’s biggest hits in 2023. The film is on the verge of crossing the coveted Rs 600 crore mark globally. However, its domestic box office collections have faced a recent downward trend.

Flow of ‘Leo’s Collections

Despite its initial success, ‘Leo’ has seen a consistent dip in collections over the past few days at the Indian box office. The film garnered approximately Rs 2.90 crore net, with weekends likely to determine its sustained theatrical run.

‘Leo’ in India: Total Collection and Occupancy

After a successful 15-day run, ‘Leo’ has collected an impressive Rs 317.85 crore net in India. On November 2, the film recorded an occupancy rate of 16.89 percent, underlining its ongoing appeal among moviegoers.

Cast and Crew of ‘Leo’

‘Leo’ marks the second collaboration between Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj after ‘Master.’ With an ensemble cast that includes Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, and others, the action-packed film has been a blockbuster success. Seven Screen Studio produced ‘Leo,’ featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, and editing by Philomin Raj.
