18th May 2023, Mumbai: Fans have been eagerly anticipating to celebrate this union on the big screen ever since Mahesh Babu and renowned director SS Rajamouli confirmed their collaboration. Acclaimed author KV Vijayendra Prasad told Pinkvilla in a previous chat that the as-yet-untitled film will be an international jungle adventure production. The movie has been delayed by a few months from its original summer start date. KV Vijayendra Prasad has confirmed the movie’s release date.
When we inquired when they would begin filming, KV Vijayendra Prasad responded, “End of this year, or beginning of next year.” Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde are currently filming Trivikram Srinivas’ SSMB28, a movie that will be released in January 2024. Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli will begin the workshops and readings for their eagerly anticipated project as soon as the film’s filming is through. The leading lady’s casting will be locked soon.
The superstar actor had said, ”It’s too early to speak about the film, but it’s a dream come true for me. SS Rajamouli and I have been trying to work together for a long time and it’s finally happening. I am really excited about the film.”
KV Vijayendra Prasad had previously stated that the movie will have sequels. He had said that although the plot of these sequels would vary, the major characters would not.
