14th May 2023, Mumbai: Yesterday, on May 13, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha exchanged engagement vows at Kapurthala House in New Delhi. The ceremony was a private affair, attended by their close friends and family, including Parineeti’s cousin Priyanka Chopra. Although The Citadel star, Priyanka Chopra, arrived in New Delhi from New York on the same day, her husband Nick Jonas did not attend the ceremony.
Despite not attending the engagement ceremony, the pop singer, Nick Jonas, sent his heartfelt congratulations to the newly-engaged couple. Parineeti Chopra, who recently got engaged to Raghav Chadha, shared several pictures on her Instagram handle after the ceremony. The photos showed the couple posing romantically together. Nick expressed his best wishes to the couple by leaving a comment on the post, saying “Congratulations” with a red heart emoji.
On Saturday, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha had an official ring-exchange ceremony in New Delhi, which was attended by several high-profile individuals from both the political and entertainment industries. Among the esteemed political guests were Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of New Delhi, Bhagwant Mann, the Chief Minister of Punjab, and P Chidambaram, alongside Aditya Thackeray. The guest list from the entertainment industry included well-known figures such as Manish Malhotra, Priyanka Chopra, Mika Singh, and Pawan Sachdeva.
Parineeti Chopra donned a customised outfit designed by Manish Malhotra, while Raghav Chadha was dressed by his uncle and designer Pawan Sachdeva for their engagement ceremony. The couple made a stylish appearance on their special night, with their attire complementing each other in hues of ivory and rose-pink. The two were first seen together earlier this year, as they were captured leaving a restaurant, presumably after a romantic date.
Subsequent to their initial sighting, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha were spotted together on various occasions, including dinners, airports, and even an IPL match in Mohali. Despite being captured together numerous times, the couple did not confirm or deny their romantic involvement until their official engagement photos were posted on their social media accounts on the day of the ceremony.
