28th September 2023, Mumbai: After their lavish wedding celebrations in Udaipur, actress Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha are taking a detour from the traditional honeymoon plans and diving straight back into their respective work commitments. Parineeti had taken a significant break from her work to celebrate her wedding in Delhi, but now she’s gearing up to resume her professional commitments without a honeymoon for the time being.
Quality time with her new in-laws
Parineeti is currently spending quality time with her new in-laws in Delhi and will soon return to Mumbai to resume her work schedule, including promotional activities for her upcoming film, “Rani MissionGanj.” Raghav, on the other hand, is preparing for his responsibilities in the winter session of Parliament, expected to commence between November and December.
“RagNeeti,” was a grand affair in Udaipur
The wedding of the newlyweds, affectionately known as “RagNeeti,” was a grand affair in Udaipur, featuring various ceremonies such as haldi, mehendi, sangeet, the wedding itself, and a reception. After their celebrations, they returned to Delhi, receiving a warm welcome from the media and locals. While there were initial plans for three receptions in Delhi, Chandigarh, and Mumbai, these have been postponed due to religious observances (shraddhs) starting on September 29.
Parineeti is considering partially shifting her base
Rather than embarking on a honeymoon immediately, the couple decided to use this time to bond with their extended families. Parineeti is reportedly delighted with the warmth and affection she’s receiving from her new family. In a significant life decision, Parineeti is considering partially shifting her base to Delhi, reflecting her commitment to her new life with Raghav. She plans to balance her professional commitments by traveling between Mumbai and Delhi as needed, maintaining a work-life equilibrium.
Parineeti and Raghav’s love story began after years of friendship during their studies in London. However, their romantic journey truly took flight while Parineeti was filming “Chamkila” in Punjab last year, with Raghav initially visiting as a friend before they officially started dating. Their engagement took place on May 13 in Delhi, marking a new chapter in their lives as a married couple.
