22nd March, Mumbai: Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Radhika Madan starrer Soorarai Pottru Remake is to be release soon. The first poster of the movie has already been released . The production of the movie was started in April 2022. The release date has been informed to the audiences with the release of the poster.
To everyone’s surprise and excitement the movie will be released on 1st September 2023 and Akshay Kumar himself shared a video in which Radhika was seen breaking the coconut which literally intensifies the sign of good fortune.
But the name of the remake is still unknown . Yesterday the action man Akshay Kumar shared the poster of the movie on his Instagram handle and captioned it with “We are ready for take off! Production No. 27 (Untitled) releases in theaters worldwide on 1st September, 2023.” Last year in April Akshay Kumar himself uploaded the video from the sets and captioned it with “With the auspicious coconut-breaking and a small prayer in our heart, we begin the filming of our yet untitled film which is about dreams and the power of it. In case you’ll have any title suggestions, do share and of course your best wishes.”
Not only this the movie also contains the cameo of Surya Shiv Kumar . The actor also expressed his happiness by tweeting “akshaykumar sir to see you as #VIR was nostalgic! @Sudha_Kongara can see our story beautifully coming alive again #Maara! Enjoyed every minute with team #Soorara Pottru Hindi in a brief cameo! @vikramix.”
The director of the movie is Sudha Kongara, she has also directed the original Tamil version, starring Suriya, Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal and Mohan Babu, among others. The Tamil version was released in November 2020. Actor Suriya has also co-produced the Hindi remake. Besides this, Akshay is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ alongside Tiger Shroff. He also has ‘OMG: Oh My God 2’ in his bag.
