16th June 2023, Mumbai: Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur pleased their fans in February of this year when they worked together once more for a web series called The Night Manager. The Night Manager is a Hindi translation of the eponymous British television programme. The second portion of the film, which will have four episodes, will be released on the date recently indicated by the producers. Creator Sandeep Modi has alluded to a potential crossover amidst the excitement.
Sandeep spoke candidly about their intentions to include characters from both iterations of the series during an interview with News18. He responded, “It’s definitely true. We’re working on it, so if it’s finished, perhaps a crossover will happen soon. We have the same hopes.
The filmmaker was questioned on the growing demand for an Indian face to cross-pollinate in the West as the talk went on. Sandeep said in his reply that “India’s borders with the rest of the globe have vanished. Also done by others. The timing for The Night Manager’s crossover is perhaps ideal.
He then addressed the audience, who were hoping for a Night Manager sequel. He remarked, “Since the producers are the same [for both versions], we have a running joke with them. I inform them that we used your material for the first adaptation, and perhaps we’ll write the second season first so they can use it for the rest of the world.
Returning to The Night Manager, the second episode of the first season will begin streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on June 30. In addition to Anil and Aditya, Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl, and Saswata Chatterjee play important supporting parts.
