22nd October 2023, Mumbai: Karan Johar’s recently released film “Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” has surely set some significant design goals for Indian and bridal attire, showcasing a variety of exquisite ethnic clothes that elegantly merge traditional Indian components with a modern and edgy touch. Raghav Mittal, MD & Creative Director, The House of Surya decoded some bridal fashion suggestions from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in an interview with Zarafshan Shiraz of HT Lifestyle.
1. The’most-talked’ stunning bridal orange-golden lehenga worn by the leading woman — Alia Bhatt — is one of the film’s outstanding outfits. It exudes wealth and grandeur with elaborate hand embroidery and embellishments. The brilliant color combinations of burnt orange with magnificent gold embroidery, as well as the use of sumptuous fabrics, give it a regal aura, making it a great choice for a woman wishing to make a statement on her wedding day.
2. Another attire that drew notice was the pink-green ombré modern chiffon sari wrapped in an unusual and unusual way. It modernizes the traditional Indian clothing while still maintaining its charm.
3. The use of unique draperies and novel sleeveless blouse designs allows for freedom and experimentation, providing brides-to-be with a plethora of possibilities for showcasing their personal style.

This film has unquestionably elevated the bar for Indian and bridal dress, leaving fashion fans eager to reproduce these designs for their own special occasions.
