Actor Jaison Patric’s brother was fatally struck by a bus on Wednesday Afternoon. According to reports, the tragedy occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Fort Lee, New Jersey, as Patric’s younger brother was crossing the street. He was allegedly struck by a NJ Transit bus when it was turning left, according to what the police said. The incident is being looked into by the Fort Lee Police Department to see if it was a crime or an accident. Police from Fort Lee and Port Authority rushed to the collision right away and started CPR. After being taken to Englewood Hospital, the victim’s condition was listed as critical but he was eventually declared dead. The 159-bus line had been en route from Fort Lee to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York when the incident occurred.

“Yesterday, I received an unexpected early morning phone call. It was from the Chief Security Officer of the Port Authority advising me of the death of a Port Authority employee,” Kevin J. O’Toole, chairman of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, wrote for the New Jersey Globe on Thursday. “When I heard the deceased man’s name, Jordan Miller, it stopped me. I knew him. I had met Jordan over a dozen years ago, and he had left a lasting impression.”

About Jason Miller

Jordan Miller was 56 years old. Miller had been working as a customer service rep at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown Manhattan at the time of his death, the outlet said. No charges had been filed against the 60-year-old bus driver said Deputy Chief Edward Young of the Fort Lee Police Department. Toole revealed in the article that Miller started working for the Port Authority in 2011. He considered Miller’s working life as well. “He was loved by his co-workers, who describe him as a ‘man of routine,’ and he will be missed,” O’Toole wrote. “He was also an avid runner who completed the New York City Marathon for 13 consecutive years, which says something about his focus and commitment to a goal.”
