LPG Cylinder Price Hiked by ₹29 Amid Rising Fuel Costs
A ₹29 hike in domestic LPG cylinder prices has led to concerns over rising inflation, with opposition criticizing the Centre as fuel costs continue to increase.
New Delhi (India) June 7: Prices of domestic LPG have been increased by ₹ 29 a cylinder (14.2kg) with effect from June 7, a second such hike in the past three months. The recent increase has come at a time when fuel price hike is the central political theme with opposition parties slamming the Center over its "failure" to provide relief from inflation despite back to back increases in cooking gas and transportation fuel prices.
