A health official reported on Tuesday that up to 43 additional Covid-19 cases had been found in the Thane region of Maharashtra, bringing the total number of illnesses to 7,46,733.
The district now has 300 active Covid-19 cases after the addition of the most recent cases on Monday, he said.
According to him, the district’s death toll is still 11,965, and the number of people who have recovered is now 7,35,174.
