Narendra Modi took oath as Prime Minister for a third term, matching Jawaharlal Nehru's record. The ceremony took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan with thousands in attendance. PM Modi wore a white kurta and blue waistcoat. Honour guards lined the steps as he took the oath.
Top Leaders Present
Following PM Modi, key BJP leaders Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, and Nitin Gadkari took the oath. Leaders from Bangladesh, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka attended the ceremony, but China and Pakistan did not send top leaders.
